I really enjoyed Raphael Peruvian Cuisine. The ambience is date night low key which I loved. It can get a bit noisy at times when the resto is full but otherwise it a great vibes. I am so bad when it comes to ordering so I asked what they recommended to drink and eat as printings. The server recommended the Pisco sour Classico. I love the tangy sour flavour. To start, I had the squid- chefs kiss! I also had the COCHINILLO which is stew like dish. Great service!

They’re Michelin Star level and will likely get one whenever Michelin decides to come to Ottawa. Excellent meal! We got the Mahi Mahi Tiradito, Anticuchos, Tamalito de Pato and Cochinillo, along with a delicious cake for dessert.

Raphael has a comfortable, clean dining room, great service and delicious food. We ordered the tiradito twice because it was so good. The seafood was high quality, dishes well balanced and werr good portions. Chef Lizardo spoiled us with a modified octopus carpaccio dish and a sampler of his dessert menu, all of which were awesome. Definitely going back!

We sampled most of the menu, from appetizers to mains and desserts, and every bite was a 10/10. The flavors were bold, beautifully balanced, and clearly crafted with care. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and generous, making the whole evening feel even more memorable. Came for a birthday dinner and was happy with everything we got. The octopus carpaccio was delicate and the tapioca chips that it went with gave it a nice crunch. The flank steak skewers were very flavourful and the spicy sauce it came with was great. The best for me was the braised pork belly. Paired with the garlic rice (although it could be more garlicky IMO), the stew was excellent. Will be adding this to our must come back restaurants!
